Xmuckah Special

Greetings!
This xmas I went to Seattle. It was a big tri-lingual fest & feast, with the costaricans, scandinavians, and seattleites :)

Kinkku, silli, sauna and aquavit at the Borlands.

The Pike Place pigs were all geared up & waiting for Satan -oops, Santa.

The Batallas and the Bunns together for a light xmas eve bite

The presents had to be opened in many shifts thruout the day. Here the Batallas are tearing theirs open...

Later, the Coble boys get their turn...

...and one more time, at our absent hosts' waterfront villa, somewhere deep in Bainbridge woods.

The chef an his lil' helper. Fernando roasted a huge slab of beef, using his mad Chain des Rotisseries skillz, while Luci smashed some potatoes...

And after dinner, I beat Adam, Erik, and everybody else in cribbage. Wish we had played for money.

Next day I flew back to the Apple, while the ticos & Erik & Dad went for snow fun in the mountains.
Next up: coming up with a Plan B for New Year's, since James Brown had to cancel his gig due to terminal illness. May he rest in peace.
